BMO CM Preview of Banks' Q4 2006 Earnings

BMO Capital Markets, 8 November 2006Highlights� We expect another excellent performance by Canadian banks when they start releasing their fourth-quarter results on November 28, 2006. Earnings are forecasted to be 5�15% ahead of last year, but marginally lower than the operating results in the third quarter. We again believe that the risk to our forecasts is to the upside (i.e. earnings could be
